The little problem is that we only knew that he was going to come back from the dead in 2024, without further details. A rather wide range. But the good news is that things have just changed. Smash’s serious competitor will be back May 28, 2024, it is recorded. As was already explained to us, MultiVersus will benefit from a certain number of new features that we will be able to discover in a few months. There will be, for example, new fighters and terrains. We were treated to a preview of some changes, but be careful. In fact, we are not dealing with the final result, but with gameplay under development. We are also informed that MultiVersus has now moved to Unreal Engine 5, but that it is still free-to-play. To quote the man in charge’s own words: “Sammy’s sandwiches have never looked so good”. For its part, Online mode will normally be more stable, and each character on the roster will have new abilities and mechanics. But one of the biggest additions is obviously a new PVE mode.
