As every year, the Chanel fall / winter show was one of the most anticipated. While all eyes were on the creations of the house, one beauty detail did not escape us!
During Fall / Winter 2021-2022 Fashion Week, Chanel presented its latest designs and chose to focus on the eyes dark for the beauty of its models. Indeed, on almost all faces – and whatever the outfit worn – kohl was proudly displayed, thus imposing itself as the tendency to adopt the next seasons!
Dark and intense, on the Castel podium, the smoky eyes stood out against the discreet and light complexions for a most controlled rendering. Applied under the eye, along the lash line, or blended over the eyelids smoky eyes, with kohl, the tone is set! The looks, deep and dark as desired, contrast as much with colorful creations as they blend with dark outfits.
A true beauty classic, kohl has – or almost always – made an essential place in our makeup bags. While it comes straight from Egypt – at a time when its first use was above all protective – this cosmetic has crossed years and borders to become the indispensable product that it is today.
And if it still happens regularly to be neglected in favor of more colorful beauty treatments, it is clear that kohl always ends up winning again, as if he had never left the spotlight. If we are to believe Chanel's Fall / Winter 2021-2022 show, this will be the case again this year and we can't say that the house had nothing to do with it …
