Snapchat: This is the current flame record

SNAPCHAT

Flames mark contacts on Snapchat that you text with every day. The more flames, the longer the chat has been going on. But where is the current flame record?

  • You can get Snapchat flames by sending each other snaps every day.
  • Snapchat flames disappear if you haven’t sent each other Snaps for a day.
  • According to the website Techzillo, the highest flame record is 2,501 days (as of January 3, 2023)

Anyone who uses Snapchat has probably seen the flame symbol in their profile and in conversations and wondered what it actually means.

You get the Snapchat flames if you send each other snaps with your friends every day. The number of flames shows you how many days in a row you have sent daily snaps with one person. If you forget to send each other snaps for a day, you will lose all the flames and have to start collecting again.

This is the highest Flame record

Snapchat does not provide any information about how high the current flame record is, but the website Techzillo has launched a call for information among its readers. The community should submit their flame records along with a screenshot as proof.

Accordingly, users Michael and Blair currently hold the Flame record with a record of 2,501 days (almost 7 years) (as of January 3, 2023). For comparison, Snapchat Flames were first introduced in April 2015, which was 2,587 days ago (as of January 3, 2023).

If you have lost your flames on Snapchat, there are ways to restore them. You can find out how to do this in the linked article. It is not known whether Michael and Blair ever made use of any of these options.
