Not yet announced, but expected for May 2022, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ will already be used by several major brands.

Three big names already in the race
As you can imagine, nothing is official for the time being, not even the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ itself. But the rumors are intensifying and have often aimed right at the level of Qualcomm processors, as well as smartphones that are equipped with them; if we obviously do not have the complete list, some of the smartphones in question could be released as early as June. For the brands listed below, the wait will be a little longer.
The first big name to work on a phone equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ SoC would be OnePlus with its future OnePlus 10 Ultra. The product could be launched in September, quite late therefore. Next comes one of the biggest smartphone sellers in the world, the Chinese Xiaomi with its future potential Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the smartphone with the camera lens to say the least imposing. No date scheduled for this model, but a release this year is particularly likely.
Finally, it is none other than Motorola, belonging to Lenovo, which could enter the race for 8 Gen1+ with a smartphone that seems to be overdue, the Motorola Frontier and its 194 MP. The launch is expected for July, without official confirmation for the time being.
