The SNCF Connect application can then be used to exchange the ticket free of charge, or cancel the reservation and obtain a full refund.
It is also possible to check the information about your journey on this page of the SNCF website. Simply enter your train number, departure date and click on “Search”. If the train is deleted, or only some of its stops, you will see it indicated, as in the following screenshot.
How do I get my Advantage code?
If your train is canceled due to the strike occurring from February 15 to 19, SNCF is making an additional commercial gesture, in addition to the free exchange or refund of the affected ticket. You benefit from a 50% reduction on your next TGV or Intercités trip. It takes the form of an Advantage code, to be used within 30 days of receipt.
If you made your reservation via SNCF Connect, or if you provided your email to make the reservation, or if you have an SNCF customer account, the code will be automatically sent to you. In an email sent to a journalist from the Numerama editorial team to inform her of the cancellation of a train, the SNCF indicates that the advantage code will be sent by “ one month maximum “.
