Snootie Wild had had a tough youth and made many bad choices. By his own admission, he had declared for The Sun : “I felt like I was playing Russian roulette with my life and I didn’t even know it“. The prison box had subsequently guided him towards his passion for music to which he had devoted himself entirely. “It was a hobby first, then the hobby becomes your life.” he had explained. In 2013, he was spotted by rapper and producer Yo Gotti who got him signed to his label Collective Music Group. It was with the latter that he had his greatest success.
