You could almost think this snowball fight was a current cell phone video — and yet these unique recordings are already over 125 years old. When the art of film was still in its infancy, the French Lumière brothers created a real “masterpiece” of film history in Lyon – and the recording is just 50 seconds long.

About a dozen adults can be seen having a relentless snowball fight – in the middle of it all, a completely overwhelmed cyclist who seemingly accidentally gets caught up in the hustle and bustle. We show the now legendary short film in the video.
