What are these Beats headphones?
The Beats Studio3 retains the design that made the brand successful, with its rounded curves and the famous logo on the earcups. In addition to being a nice headset, the Studio3 is a very comfortable model that fits most heads. Its weight of 260 g is also correctly distributed. It’s a shame that the headband exerts slight pressure on the top of the head, pressure which can be annoying during long use. For transport, the headset is foldable and can be easily transported thanks to its rigid storage case.
In terms of function, the right earpiece has several controls to turn on the headphones, manage playback and volume or activate and deactivate noise reduction. The latter does a decent job of isolation, without matching the performance of the best headphones on the market, Sony in the lead. Note that the W1 chip allows you to pair quickly and efficiently with an iPhone or iPad.
Are the Beats headphones a good deal at this price?
Less than €200 is a very good deal for this quality headset. The audio performance is also excellent, with powerful and well-balanced sound, even at high volume. The bass, without being discreet, is sometimes a little recessed, and the midrange can lack precision. The whole thing, however, has good dynamics, especially after switching to the equalizer available on the dedicated application.
In terms of autonomy, the Studio3 can last up to 40 hours. A Fast Fuel function allows you to recover nearly 2 hours of listening time with five minutes of recharging.
