SOAZ is back ! The French, after a year of coaching in LFL at the house of LDLC OL decided to put on his crampons to regain the life of a professional player. Obviously, we would have dreamed of seeing him return to the European elite, but at 27 and after his last delicate years, it was surely a little too ambitious. The LFL could have been an interesting destination, but it seems that no French team wanted to take the gamble … However, it is not the dinosaurs that are lacking in our national league (Vizicsacsi, Vander …) .
For Spring 2022, sOAZ will evolve into another ERL. He joined Wave Esports, an Austrian team playing in the German-speaking league.
A big challenge for sOAZ
Wave Esports is not part of the big German structures and generally, during the EUM we are more used to finding teams like BIG or mousesports. Wave even had to defend his place in the first division at the end of Summer Split 2021 (8th) during the promotion tournament. SOAZ is therefore landing in a structure which still has everything to prove at European level. But we imagine that by recruiting SOAZ, the structure hopes to burst the screen and give a new sporting dimension to its project. It must be said that the veteran tricolor is extremely well known and followed by the community. Brilliant with Fnatic and Origen it was the heyday of the EU LCS for a long time.
SOAZ (top) will be accompanied next year by Mirai (jungle), Xoura (mid), Bung (ADC) and Adept (Supp).
