The Social Security budget is at the center of debates this Monday evening in the National Assembly, which largely rejected the motion of censure tabled by the RN as well as that of part of the left, including LFI. This decision comes in response to 49.3 triggered by Elisabeth Borne on the “revenue” aspect of the bill.

The National Assembly largely rejected on Monday the motion of censure tabled by the RN and the left, which includes LFI, the communists and ecologists, without the PS, in response to 49.3 triggered by Elisabeth Borne on the “revenue” part of the budget of Social Security.

The motion received 223 votes out of the 289 needed to bring down the government. This rejection of the RN’s motion, after that of the left just before, is worth the adoption at first reading of the “revenue” section of the Social Security budget.
