Unveiled by the Vile Monarck studio on the occasion of the Future Games Show, floodland is announced for November 15, 2022. The title, published by Ravenscourt, will be available on PC via Steam.
Floodland takes us to a world where climate change has led to a series of events, more or less catastrophic, which eventually lead to the sides being submerged. Then at the end of the world, as we know it today. All that remains are islands, swamps, and groups of survivors trying to adapt. Your role here will be paramount since only you can help humanity survive. Just that.
Exploring new territories, recovering resources, rediscovering technologies will all be possible activities to lead your people on the path to redemption. To make your city prosper, you will have to have an eye on everything. Because everything will be important, from food to water, including shelter and health.
And because living in society also means having to respect a few rules, you will also have the power and the duty to define the laws of your new world. Will you opt for a world of utopian equality or for a real dictatorship? Up to you. But be aware that each of your choices will impact the future of your people, because not everyone will necessarily share your vision.
