(Boursier.com) — The Sea Bathing Company and its subsidiaries recorded a consolidated turnover up 9% during the third quarter of the 2023/2024 financial year compared to the same period of the previous financial year.
The turnover of the games sector stood at 48.6 million euros for the past quarter compared to 43.6 million euros over the same period of the previous year. The growth in gaming turnover of 5.1 million euros, or 12%, is driven by a positive upswing in table games this quarter.
Game volumes, both on table games and on automatic machines, are down slightly, in relation to increased selectivity of players linked to reinforced Compliance rules.

The hotel sector confirms the positive trend observed in the first half of the current financial year. It recorded a 3% increase in turnover in the third quarter, which stood at 52 million euros, compared to 50.3 million euros in 2022/2023, driven by an occupancy rate and average prices up slightly.

The rental sector, which brings together the rental activities of shops and offices as well as the activities of the Sporting, Balmoral and One Monte-Carlo residences and the Sporting Villas, presents a turnover of €35.1 million. euros compared to 30.9 million euros previously. This increase is mainly the result of the gradual rental of stores in the new Café de Paris complex, as well as the positive impact of rent indexation.

Cumulatively for the first 9 months of the financial year, the consolidated turnover of the SBM Group stands at 580.7 million euros compared to 556.5 million euros for the same period of the previous financial year, i.e. an increase of 4%.

The SBM Group’s activity over the first 9 months of the 2023/2024 financial year is therefore confirmed at a sustained level which is based on the good positioning of the Resort’s offers. This trend should continue over the last quarter.
However, the activities of the SBM Group are dependent on the random nature, over a short period, of the Games activity. This hazard does not allow us to make forecasts for the entire 2023/2024 financial year.
