Société Générale: Appointment of Kristell Herbault as Head of Sustainable Development for Market Activities

(Boursier.com) — Societe Generale announces the appointment of Kristell Herbault as Head of Sustainable Development for Societe Generale’s Markets Activities, with immediate effect. Based in Paris, she reports to Sylvain Cartier and Hatem Mustapha, co-heads of Societe Generale’s Markets Activities. She will be responsible for leading all ESG-related initiatives within Markets Activities, developing innovative sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and driving team collaboration and engagement across all products and geographical areas.

Kristell Herbault began her career at Société Générale in 2012, in the Short-Term Cash Bonds Trading team in Paris, then joined the Short-Term Repo team, mainly on non-governmental debt securities. She also worked in the past for the Credit and Equity derivatives teams of Société Générale, notably within the Special Situation Group in London in 2009, then later within the Arbitrage Indices team in New York until 2012. In 2020, she joined the Sustainable Investment Solutions team for Markets Activities, and since February 2023, she was Deputy Head of Sustainable Development for Markets Activities.
Kristell Herbault is an engineer with a degree from ENSAE and a master’s degree in random modeling from Paris Diderot University.
