(CercleFinance.com) – Societe Generale announces that the 29th capital increase reserved for Group employees and retirees has been successfully completed in 43 countries.
More than 118,000 Group employees and retirees have subscribed to this operation. This capital increase amounts to a total amount of 235.7 million euros, the highest amount subscribed since 2009, and gave rise to the issue of 12,759,346 new shares.
Societe Generale’s share capital is thus increased to 1,062,354,722.50 divided into 849,883,778 shares with a par value of €1.25.
The transaction will have an impact of approximately +6 basis points on the Group’s CET1 ratio in the third quarter of 2022.
