(CercleFinance.com) – Solvay announced on Tuesday an extension of the capacities of two of its units specially designed to recycle residues from the combustion gas purification process.

By the end of 2025, the recycling capacity of the Resolest site, near Dombasle (Meurthe-et-Moselle), should increase by 60% while that of Solval, in Rosignano (Itale), should immediately increase. increase by 30%.

Solvay specifies that the gases are treated using its patented ‘SolvAir’ technology, based on sodium bicarbonate, which enables various industries, such as waste-to-energy facilities, power plants, cement plants, manufacturers of glass and maritime transport, to effectively eliminate more than 99% of pollutants.
