In 1996, she published her first book entitled Let’s lose weight together in which she gives the details of her success in changing her figure and diet.
The book lists three main stages the first of which consists of an “Operation Emmaüs” which consists of saying goodbye to biscuits, cold meats and all kinds of foods likely to cause weight gain.

The second is called “the emotional control“, a more psychological aspect which aims to boost one’s ego and regain self-confidence in order to successfully motivate oneself and continue losing weight sustainably.

Finally, third and final step, a radical and lasting change in diet. Exit sugar and fat, make way for vegetables, fruit and fish, all in simple and varied meals. Of course, Sonia Dubois recommended to her readers to add the practice of sport to the process and to focus on one to three gymnastic movements every day.
