If we mainly wait Sonic Superstars next month, SEGA has not yet said its last word regarding the 3D “open world” episode released at the end of last year, Sonic Frontiers. We have known for a long time that it would benefit from three major updates throughout 2023, the last of which would add a new story. It was revealed during the gamescom Opening Night Live through a superb cinematic with a new transformation of Sonic and shows himself again on video a few days before his arrival.
According to this new cinematic using lightly animated illustrations, this final update The Final Horizon will make us “rewrite our history” in order to discover the “ultimate truth”. The character of Wise therefore evokes the multiple simulations that she has studied, only one of which could be the key to saving everyone and obtaining a nice happy ending. Amy, Knuckles And Tails becoming playable with this update, they are therefore highlighted, as is the menacing shadow of The End…
The Final Horizon will be available in Sonic Frontiers on September 28. If you don’t yet have the game in your game library, it is sold from €37.86 on Amazon.
