Announced last June during the Summer Game Fest, Sonic Superstars will be released as planned in the fall, more precisely on October 17, 2023 and will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. A daring choice since in addition to joining the already very long list of October releases, the famous blue hedgehog gives us an appointment only 3 days before the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonderful.
The trailer, released during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, gives us more details on the title’s multiplayer modes. Players will therefore be able to embark on a cooperative adventure with up to 4 local participants. A Battle mode will be available locally and online and which seems to allow players to compete in different mini-games.
Finally, we learn that Sonic Superstars will also be entitled to a Deluxe digital edition which includes a digital artbook as well as a copy of the soundtrack. Players will also be entitled to a set of LEGO-style skins and other small cosmetic bonuses.
