Unveiled during the Summer Game Fest 2023, he gave his news during the Nintendo Direct on June 21. To continue this good momentum, he showed up at the opening night of Gamescom 2023.
Sonic Superstars, a way to bring fans together?
During its presentation about two months ago, Sonic Superstars was selling dreams to fans: 2.5D with mechanics reminiscent of the good times of the blue hedgehog. The particularity of this opus lies in the fact that it is possible to play the story mode in local cooperation and this, up to four players. We can then play Sonic, Knuckles, Tails or Amy. But the game also allows you to do battle online through a mini-game capable of accommodating a maximum of eight players. The fans were therefore reassured, but there were still some gray areas.
Starting with the release window, set for fall 2023. So far, no additional details have been provided and given the current period, a postponement could be possible. At least, that was the case before this first day of Gamescom 2023, which came to meet the expectations of those eager to attack Sonic Superstars.
