Endnight Games had revealed Sons of the Forest, the sequel to The Forestduring the Game Awards 2019. After long years of waiting and several postponements, the title was finally released on February 23, but in Early Access only. This didn’t stop millions of players from purchasing the game.
Endnight Games has already published several updates to add content and correct technical problems, it is finally ready to talk about what’s next. In a brief press release, the developers announce that the release date of Sons of the Forest in version 1.0 is set for February 22, 2024, a year after its launch in early access. The survival game will be entitled to a big free update adding story elements, new features, optimizations and even surprises.
But above all, Endnight Games announces that Shawn Ashmore joins the cast, he will voice the character of Tommy, which will be expanded for version 1.0. The actor stood out in films X-Men as well as in video games Quantum Break And The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan.
