After several postponements of its release date, Sons of the Forest had ended up setting its release date for February 23, 2023. Unfortunately, it seems that the Endnight Games studio needs more time to fully develop its horror survival title.
In a statement on the game’s Steam page, the team explains that Sons of the Forest is the biggest and most complex project they’ve ever created. And while the game was due out in less than a month, the studio still wants to add a lot of content but also to balance its title as well as possible. However, in a desire not to delay the release of Sons of the Forest again, Endnight Games has decided to maintain the release on February 23 but in the form of early access.
