Known for his work on games using console accessories playstationfrom the Eye Toy to the PlayStation VR, London Studio is a division little promoted by Sony, but which managed to stand out thanks to the critical success of Blood & Truth. Thanks to this success, the studio seems to have taken it to the next level and today tells us a little more about its current project, which is described as being his most ambitious project ever created.
A game designed for the PS5, and future game service?
GamesIndustry.biz was able to speak with Stuart Whyte, who co-leads the studio, to learn more about the studio’s upcoming game. This one will be for the PlayStation 5 and will use the Soho engine, the studio’s in-house engine. A priori, no virtual realityand it is described as being ” a cooperative online combat game set in a fantasy city of London ».
A funny description from which we will not get much, but an artwork was revealed at the same time to give us a better idea of the universe that will be offered.
Tara Saundersthe other head of the studio, says:
” You see here [sur l’artwork] a vision of a modern fantasy London. Our main theme is to bring fantasy and magical elements and intersect them with familiar worlds, and it doesn’t get more familiar to us than London. »
This new title would have been chosen among other concepts after having carried out several polls, sometimes even within PlayStation Studios. We are now waiting to know more, even if the project seems to be still at an early stage.
