After chemo, she cheats more hair on her head

If you look at the last photos of Sonya Kraus on Instagram, you may have noticed that the moderator wears a very specific accessory all the time. A white hat with a dark band currently adorns her head almost every day. Why? Sonya reveals that now.
The white hat is not a particularly popular accessory for the presenter, rather Sonya Kraus, 48, cheats with a fuller mane. A lot of her own hair fell out after the chemotherapy she had to undergo because of her breast cancer. But for the 48-year-old, that’s no reason to let go.
Sonya Kraus: Hat is good
In an Instagram video, Sonya Kraus tells her fans about her hairy secret. “I’ll reveal the secret in the truest sense of the word,” she introduces. And continues: “It’s not just because I don’t want to get a burn, it’s … tatatadaaaa.”
As the TV face speaks his words, he takes off his hat and it becomes apparent that the fashion accessory has a lot of blonde long hair attached to it, which Sonya can conjure up a fuller mane in no time at all. “The hair comes included,” she jokes. Because of her chemotherapy, her own hair has become much thinner, and the 48-year-old makes no secret of that. On the contrary. She deals with it proactively, showing her fans and followers what is happening to her.
Almost all hair fell out after chemotherapy
In the fall of 2021, Sonya received the shocking diagnosis of breast cancer, and she has been fighting bravely ever since. She had both breasts amputated and is doing chemotherapy. And it leaves its mark. “About 85 percent of my hair has gone hops,” reports the TV celebrity. She can only make a small “rat tail” at the moment.
She was left with it because of the cooling cap she wears during the radiation treatment. With the help of the hat, she conjures up a wow mane from time to time. A glimmer of hope for the presenter, who is suffering from cancer: the hair grows again. “They grow back up here, my tonsure is already overgrown. It looks a little disgusting because I’m not allowed to dye yet, but it doesn’t matter, it’ll be fine,” says Sonya Kraus happily.
