The schools have reopened. A reason to celebrate for Sonya Kraus.

The corona pandemic is enough of a challenge for everyone. But parents are particularly challenged in this situation, as they not only have to go about their jobs, but should also take care of their children's further education. A lot is demanded of parents in homeschooling. With schools closed in lockdown, parents are encouraged to help their children study at home. Sonya Kraus, 47, is also one of those mothers for whom homeschooling is a big part of everyday corona – until now.

Schools open again – Sonya Kraus is happy

Chancellor Angela Merkel was unable to assert herself with the schools. The Chancellor wanted to open schools and daycare centers only from March 1st. But after the last federal-state consultations, another decision is emerging: From February 22nd, numerous federal states are gradually easing the corona restrictions on school operations.

Sonya Kraus takes a load off her heart. On Instagram, the mother of two children is jumping for joy. "Hurray! School is back! Always thought I had nerves like wire ropes … LOL. I'm going to party in the hotel room today and eat the chocolate from the minibar. Who is celebrating with me?", She wrote about her post, that shows her with sunglasses and sundresses on the beach.

With her contribution, the moderator speaks from the soul of many parents. The 47-year-old gets a lot of encouragement in the comments. "I am also very relieved, the children also miss their friends," writes an Instagram user. "I understand that too well!" Says another. And Sonya Kraus can understand this follower too. "We'll have weekly changing classes from tomorrow, I'm so happy."

Sonya Kraus spoke openly about the problems in homeschooling

Sonya Kraus had admitted that she had difficulties with homeschooling her two sons during the corona crisis: "In the meantime I thought: Then you should just repeat the year, at least it won't go on like this," the 47-year-old told "Bunte" .
