Sophia Thomalla accompanied tennis star Alexander Zverev to Brazil. Now she shared sweet snapshots from Rio de Janeiro.
At the Davis Cup in Rio de Janeiro, tennis star Alexander Zverev (24) won both individual games, but there was no support from the fans in Brazil. His comeback after the disqualification in Mexico did not cause any joy among the audience: “We were booed here the whole time,” said the Olympic champion after the last match. All the more supports the 24-year-old girlfriend Sophia Thomalla (32), who shared several couple snapshots from the tennis court on Instagram.
Closely entwined, they shine in the sun
“Brazil, it was an honor,” writes the 32-year-old about the photos that show her arm in arm with a shirtless Zverev. However, the presenter cannot resist taking a dig at the Brazilian fans: Germany gave them another kick in the buttocks, she comments with a football emoji – probably alluding to the 7-1 victory of the German national team at the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
“Adeus!” (Portuguese for “Bye!”) Thomalla adds and reveals: Next up is Indian Wells in California, where Zverev will be on the pitch from Monday (March 7).
