Sophie Davant makes a big flop on Europe 1: “it’s difficult to live with”

After spending six years at the helm of Affaire concluded, the second-hand show on France 2, Sophie Davant changed her life and set about animating a radio show from the start of the school year on Europe 1. While she was replaced on France 2 by the much appreciated Julia Vignali, who dazzles with her presentation but also her looks on the air, Sophie Davant is in charge of Sophie and her friends, from Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Before it is positioned on this time slot, it’s Stéphane Bern who kept him busy with his show Historically yours. This reached an average of 110,000 listeners, but Sophie Davant did not reach such a large audience. In fact, the former TV host reaches an average of 76,000 listeners with her show. A fairly significant difference, on which she decided to speak on the microphone of Télé-Loisirs.

Sophie Davant did not expect to “work miracles”

The host wanted to be very frank during her interview with the magazine: “I had no hope of being able to settle in in two and a half months, which would have been complicated. It turns out that the two shows which precede me in the afternoon drop from 2 p.m.so not only is it difficult to impose a new appointment, but it’s even more difficult when you come on after two shows which are declining”she first explained.

She, who finds herself in direct competition with the show Les Grosses Têtes by Laurent Ruquier on RTL, added that she did not expect “to work miracles”. As she so rightly recalled, Sophie Davant is at the helm of his own show for only two months, which gives him time to establish himself more prominently among listeners and to work on what could possibly be improved.
