Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are said to be on the verge of an “amicable settlement” on their divorce issues following mediation.

Joe Jonas (34) and Sophie Turner (27) started their four-day mediation on Wednesday (October 4th), during which custody issues were to be clarified after their divorce was announced and a parenting plan for their two daughters was to be drawn up. As “Page Six”, among others, now reports, citing court documents, the two are close to an “amicable agreement on all issues between them”.

The two have already agreed on a temporary custody agreement for their daughters Willa (3) and Delphine (1). Accordingly, the children should stay with Turner until October 21st, who can travel with them as they wish throughout the USA or Great Britain during this period. From October 21st to November 2nd, Jonas will spend time with his daughters. The couple will share custody until January 7, 2024, giving the children the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving with their father and Christmas with their mother.

Lawsuit against Ex

The singer and the actress had been in a relationship since 2016. Their engagement in 2017 was followed by a wedding in Las Vegas two years later. At the beginning of September, Joe Jonas is said to have filed for divorce. The couple confirmed their separation in a joint statement on Instagram. “After four wonderful years, we have decided together and in friendship to end our marriage.”

Although a trial date has been set for Jan. 2, the mediation is aimed at resolving many of Turner and Jonas’ custody issues, the couple’s attorneys said. Turner had previously sued her ex for allegedly refusing to let the children travel to her native Britain.
