Sopra Steria changes its CEO, raises its forecasts for the year 2021 – 12/01/2022 at 19:25


PARIS (Reuters) – Sopra Steria announced on Wednesday that Vincent Paris had wished to be “relieved” of his duties as chief executive officer for family reasons and that the group’s board of directors had chosen Cyril Malargé, current chief operating officer, to succeed him from March 1st.

In a statement, the digital services and software publishing company also indicated that it was raising its forecasts for the year 2021, ahead of the detailed publication of its results on February 24.

“Current estimates confirm the sharp rebound in operational performance in 2021 with annual targets largely achieved,” it wrote.

Organic annual revenue growth is now expected to be between 6.3% and 6.4%, compared to 6% or more previously, while the operating margin on business activity should stand at 8.1 % while the previous estimate was between 7.7% and 8.0%.
