Recently announced, Soul Hackers 2 will come and give us our dose of JRPG way Atlus this year, impatiently awaiting the arrival of a Persona 6, one day. This new spin-off of the series of Shin Megami Tensei is now entitled to a few more images while revealing more information on its universe and its characters, revealed at Game Informer.
An apple and a fig to save the world
We therefore learn that the plot will take place in the middle of the 21st century, in a universe managed by Aion, a mysterious being who will send ringo and Fig save the world when it is in peril. These last two are actually self-contained fragments of Aion’s mind, and must then find two key people for the destiny of the universe. Bad luck, these people are already dead. Fortunately, Ringo can use his Soul Hack power to enter the memories of the dead to awaken their regrets and bring them back to life.
Ringo is described as being fascinated by human society, while Figue goes to help the group from behind the scenes, without a fight. Arrowa demon summoner, is just one of the important humans who died too soon, but who will come back to life thanks to Ringo.
We will also come across Miladya calm and thoughtful young summoner, as well as Saizodescribed as being an independent agent described as a romantic. The weapons used by summoners are called COMPs.and can be customized to have various effects.
Soul Hackers 2 is slated for August 26 on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
