Polluting car against unlimited train: this is the original deal unveiled in mid-December by the South region to encourage the development of public transport on a daily basis. The executive led by Renaud Muselier and the metropolis of Aix-Marseille-Provence intend to offer six months of public transport subscription to all users who resell their Crit’Air 5 vehicle, the most polluting level according to the government. Purpose : “move towards sustainable and environmentally friendly transport“.
If the exact terms will be defined in the coming weeks, the system will be managed via a one-stop shop. In concrete terms, eligible persons will be entitled to six months free on the monthly subscription of the Integral Pass, including “all TER services” in the metropolis and normally paid 73 euros per month.
