For Christmas, the boss of a Spanish car rental company offered the sum of one million euros to his employees. Each will receive an average of 2,000 euros.
On Friday, December 17, for an end-of-year cocktail, Othman Ktiri gathered all his employees in the stadium of Real Mallorca, the football club sponsored by the company. Those based abroad followed the event remotely.
The boss began by taking stock of this year 2021 by saying that it was “historic” for the rental company. At the end of his speech, he launched the draw for a raffle organized for the occasion.
However, the surprise was that all tickets won, giving way to general misunderstanding followed by euphoria that spread to all employees. Othman Ktiri expected this reaction and took care to film this moment before posting the video on social networks.
“This is my way of thanking you for your commitment, your dedication and above all your loyalty,” said the business manager. For him, this day is the “most beautiful” of his professional life.
A success story for Christmas
Othman Ktiri is a Franco-Moroccan who started his career in a car dealership in Mallorca. In 2005, he decided to launch his own company called OK Mobility.
Sixteen years later, this rental company is present in 7 different countries and in 2021 its turnover reached the 300 million euros mark.
