By the time police arrived, the buck had already forced its head and both forelegs through the vertical steel bars. “Both hind legs were hanging in the direction of the road and the roebuck could neither go forward nor back,” the police said. The employees immediately provided professional support and a steel rod could be sawed off with the help of a battery-powered handsaw. The roebuck was freed unharmed and released back into the wild.
