Much more than the 407 million of the very first Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire in the title role.
On our side of the Atlantic, however, we had to wait longer for the third solo film by the hero played by Tom Holland to surpass him. It was at the end of the day of January 20, 2022 that Spider-Man: No Way Home exceeded Sam Raimi’s film by a few hundred admissions, according to Sony France. Exact figures have not yet been released.
In the world too, the Spider-Man still on display does better than that of 2002 since it crossed 1.63 billion greenbacks, becoming the eighth biggest success in history far ahead of the first film devoted to the Weaver who ended his career with 825 million dollars in his pocket.
