The first trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is finally here! In addition to Spidey Tom Holland, fans get to see the return of old villains.
It was leaked online, and a few hours later Sony Pictures officially put it online: The first trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is here. The third adventure of Tom Holland (25) as a spider man is due to hit German cinemas on December 16, 2021.
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” – The story according to the trailer
At the beginning of the new film, the trailer reveals, the double life of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man was exposed. Rogue Mysterio has revealed Peter’s secret identity, the student is hunted by Spidey fans with smartphones. Peter is annoyed by the attention and visits his superhero buddy Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch, 45). Can he go back in time and undo the reveal? Dr. Strange agrees.
But with that he messes up the space-time continuum and creates various multiverses, which are announced in the trailer in effects in the style of “Inception”. Whole rows of houses are shifting, a train is multiplying. Speaking of Maguire: According to rumors, Spider-Man Tom Holland will not only meet well-known villains from previous films, but also companions such as Kirsten Dunsts (39) Mary Jane or Emma Stones (32) Gwen. In addition, Holland should meet other incarnations of Spider-Man, played by the previous Spidey actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield (38). But none of them can (yet) be seen in the trailer.
