(CercleFinance.com) – Spie announced on Tuesday the renewal of its collaboration with the urban community of Pau Béarn Pyrénées (CAPBP) as part of the signing of a new public contract.
According to the engineering group, the operation and digitization of the local authority’s buildings should allow a reduction of more than 20% in the energy consumption of the urban community by the end of the contract, scheduled for 2028.
Spie plans in particular to carry out work with a view to better regulating energy consumption through the use of digital technology, as well as renovations to the heating and ventilation installations.
The city of Pau and the Pau Béarn Pyrénées urban community, which have been working with Spie for ten years, aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040.
