(CercleFinance.com) – Spie announced on Thursday that it had been chosen to take charge of industrial maintenance at the Mercedes-Benz automobile plant in Mettingen/Esslingen.
The engineering group indicates that it has been retained to ensure the maintenance of industrial installations and technical equipment of the site’s buildings, as well as its supply of fluids.
In total, the contract must cover the management of some 500,000 square meters of useful space, for a workforce of more than 30 employees.
In a press release, Spie indicates that it is, at the same time, supporting the car manufacturer in optimizing its installations in order to further improve energy efficiency.
Services began in July 2023, after a start-up phase which lasted three months.
Spie recalls that it has been associated with Mercedes-Benz for almost 25 years in areas related to the production process.
