The Polish national football stadium in Warsaw is being converted into an emergency hospital. This was announced by a government spokesman. Above all, the conference rooms in the arena built for the EM 2012 are used for treating patients. Given the sharply increasing number of corona cases the health system in Poland is busy. "We will create space for around 500 beds in the stadium, including 50 intensive care beds"said Piotr Muller to the TV station Polsatnews. The beds should be available by the end of the week. The Polish government recently called on the population to "stay at home" if possible and work in the home office.
