Square Enix and Yokō Tarō Announce Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden

Yokô Tarô therefore returns for a second part, always accompanied by Yosuke Saito, executive producer, Kimihiko Fujisaka in character design and Keiichi Okabe in musical direction. And the least we can say is that the quartet will not have wasted any time since Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden will be available from February 17 on Switch, PS4 and PC. This brand new adventure, independent of the first opus, will take up the narrative and playful principle of the latter, namely the use of cards to tell your story, move on the map or even play his fights. A radical and original bias, a thousand miles from the previous achievements of its creators.

It is about a distant archipelago under the protection of Priestesses and which will have to be saved from destruction by presiding over the destiny of its hero. One pitch very elusive for the moment but which, if we rely on the rich and complex story of the first part, should have some surprises in store for us. Square Enix also takes the opportunity to announce an edition of the game accompanied by several DLCs, without revealing the price for the moment. For example, there are alternative outfits for three characters – Barren, Laty and Lac; an avatar of 2B; a set of pixel-art illustrations replacing the artworks of all the character and enemy cards, and a few other quirks of the same barrel. Finally, note that pre-orders are already open on Switch and PC.
