Famous Youtubers Squeezie, McFly and Carlito created a very ugly design in their latest video. But it seems to please their community, which is ready to buy this drawing for more than 10,000 euros!
The story is crazy, but it’s true. In their last video, We call random people feat. Squeezie strikes back, the trio of Youtubers called their friend Hasheur to make him believe that they were going to try to sell a drawing made by Carlito. Problem: this drawing is ugly, very ugly. It’s a stick figure on a green background that has absolutely nothing aesthetic about it. Hasheur didn’t fall for it and discouraged them from giving it a shot.
But the group decided otherwise! McFly, Carlito and Squeezie actually put the drawing up for sale on the OpenSea platform, announcing that all proceeds would be donated to Action Against Hunger. The Binny “wesh the zone” image has seen its price skyrocket at auction, currently exceeding 11,000 euros! A huge price that remains 10 times lower than the most expensive Pokémon cards. The YouTube community seems very motivated by the idea of doing a good deed while offering an original Carlito.
angry fans
The problem is that not all their fans liked the method… Indeed, the OpenSea platform is regularly singled out for scam problems. The technology they use is also very polluting. The contents they resell are called NFTs, cousins of cryptocurrencies which are currently debated for their big impact on the environment. Several fans have indicated that they would have preferred an old-fashioned kitty, or even a simple donation from the stars of the web… On the net, between pure and hard scams and a real video game black market Money questions will always agitate Internet users!
