St. Johann im Pongau – young people threatened with folding knives

A group between the ages of 16 and 18 threatened other young people in the St. Johann area with a jackknife in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In the early hours of Sunday, there was an incident involving a knife in Alpendorf, St.Johann. Due to the conspicuous driving behavior of a car, an 18-year-old from Pongau tried to get the occupants to adapt their driving behavior. The 18-year-old probationary license holder then stopped his car. He and his two passengers, between 16 and 18 years old, got out of the car and threatened the Pongauer and others with a jackknife from his fanny pack. After the incident became known to the police, a police patrol was able to stop the car in Pfarrwerfen. The alcohol test for the test driver’s license holder showed 0.5 per mille.
