All you need for cleaning is: a conventional shaving foam or shaving gel, a damp cloth and a sponge.
Then proceed as follows:
- In order not to cause more stains in the upholstery, you should first vacuum up the superficial dirt with a vacuum cleaner.
- Then apply a coin-sized amount of shaving foam or gel directly onto the stain and spread it. Depending on the size of the stain, you can use more shaving foam.
- Now work the agent into the seat with the sponge. Make sure that the foam is not only on the surface of the upholstery, but can also penetrate into the deeper layers of the textile. This is the only way you can actually remove the dirt.
- Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.
- You should now be able to wipe off the foam with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a little water. Household towels, for example from Zewa, are not suitable for this; they tear quickly and cause annoying fluff. a notice: Do not use too much water as the seats can quickly become soaked and irreparably damaged.
- Finally, allow the seat to dry for a few more hours, or ideally overnight. The upholstery should look (almost) like new again.
