Star Academy: David Hallyday almost bursts into tears, Héléna has nothing to do with it

During the prime debrief this Sunday, January 21, David Hallyday gave his opinion on Héléna’s performance. The singer was very moved and praised the work of the young woman.

During the last bonus of the Star Academy, Héléna gave a very moving performance. Indeed, she had the opportunity to create an entire painting that she assembled from A to Z on the song Stolen, by Celine Dion. This performance was an opportunity for the young woman to pay homage to her grandmother, who died earlier this year and to whom she was unable to say goodbye. While all the people present during the prime of the star Academy were very moved, the teachers praised her performance. And Héléna was also able to watch her performance again the next day in the company of David Hallyday. The singer was particularly moved. “We will try not to shed a little tear. It was very beautiful”he explained first.

Héléna then returned to her feelings at the time of the painting. And the student revealed that she was very moved by the tape broadcast just before her performance. “It put me in a state… I said to myself: ‘How am I going to do this?’ I should never have seen it before. It disturbed me. The first sentence, I forgot all my words. I felt like I had forgotten everything. (…) It was super intense. Fortunately there was a commercial break afterwards, because I was in a state… But I’m super happy to have experienced this moment. I cried my heart out right after.”she admitted.

David Hallyday very moved in the Star Academy

For his part, David Hallyday then revealed that he had experienced a similar story with his grandfather. The artist paid him a beautiful tribute with the flagship title You didn’t give me time. “When everything is going well, we never say ‘I love you’ enough to the people we love. It’s once they’re gone…” he explained. Overwhelmed by emotion, he then apologized. “I’m a little upset by his stuff. I have nothing to say”he concluded.
