As early as 2013, Faustine Nogherotto had to fight against two diseases that were eating away at her. She suffered from an incurable autoimmune disease, Gougerot-Sjögren syndrome, as well as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME). The ex-academy star died on January 29, 2021, at just 31 years old.
