Star Citizen: Xenothreat is back in force, come join the militia quickly!

Who is Xenothreat?

XenoThreat is a group of human outlaws from StarCitizen, based in the Pyro system known for a virulently anti-alien and anti-corporate ideology. Law enforcement believes the group is primarily made up of corrupt former members of the United Earth Empire (UEE) military. Most of his criminal activities have been concentrated in the system pyro until 2949, when systems connected to Pyro, such as Stanton and Terrabegan reporting raids by members of XenoThreat.

Xenothreat, a Perpetual Threat to the UEE

Let’s plant the Xenothreat event script…

The XenoThreat Dynamic Event is a server-wide event that takes place over several action-packed and engaging phases.

This will be the third time XenoThreat has attempted to invade the Stanton system.

The Aegis Destroyer javelin of the Navy, the UEES War Hammer, is being resupplied at the INS station Jericho. Unfortunately, XenoThreat has intercepted and destroyed supply convoys, so the Navy is asking for help from the CDF to recover the scattered cargo and deliver it to Jericho station. As the XenoThreat forces are still at large, combat support is also needed while resupplying the Navy flagship to keep attackers at bay.

As soon as War Hammer is resupplied and ready for battle, you will engage XenoThreat’s capital-class ships and dangerous fighter escorts in an effort to drive them out of the Stanton system.

Progress of the Xenothreat event in 3 phases:

Phase 1 :

With XenoThreat’s declaration of war, you are called upon to join the Civil Defense Force (CDF) to eliminate this threat to the Stanton system. The message from Special Agent Rowena Dulli, the CDF Coordinator, orders you to report to INS Jericho Military Station, located near MicroTech. All help is needed to fight XenoThreat, so it doesn’t matter what ship you pilot or if you go in a group or alone.

Threat Warning

Phase 2:

In the phase, you are tasked with protecting and resupplying the UEE Warhammer, a Javelin destroyer docked at Jericho Station. Supplies are available approximately 600 km away in Navy vessels destroyed by the Xenothreat raid. Caution is advised when approaching them, as XenoThreat ground troops may still linger there. The materials are stored in secure containers in the hold and all have different properties.

You can grab the containers by hand, but a multiTool equipped with sound tractor beam is beneficial to save you too much handling. Note, however, that XenoThreat is very active in this area, so always watch your back or provide security. While you’re picking up supplies, the Javelin docked at the station can also be attacked by XenoThreat. This capital ship must be defended at all costs, as it cannot protect itself while resupplying.

Once you have the cargo on board, return to the Jericho Military Outpost and deliver it to one of its terminals. When all the required materials have been collected and delivered, phase 3 of the event can begin.

Phase 3:

As soon as it is operational, the UEE Warhammer will fight alongside you against XenoThreat, which has an Idris and several escorts. With combined firepower, you must face the waves of attack and ensure that XenoThreat will be stopped in its murderous raid.

What is Javelin Resupply?

During Phase 2 of the Dynamic Event, you will be asked to deliver three types of materials that all exhibit some instability. These instabilities will be triggered when the materials are obtained. Keep reading to learn more about what to watch out for.

“See the timer? When it reaches zero, it will be lost. »

Zeta-prolanide is an industrial reactive chemical that has been widely used in the neutralization of irradiated materials. Due to its volatility, it must be kept in an electrically charged state. It will lose its integrity outside of containment, eventually leading to a rapid exothermic reaction. The current state of deterioration is displayed on the container screen.

Zeta-prolanide degrades over time until it breaks down completely (time sensitive).

“Watch out for that one! Acrylicplex is extremely explosive if damaged. »

AcryliPlex Composite is a moldable material used in the construction of explosives. Besides being commonly used in heavy industry and mining demolition applications, it is also used to create powerful small warheads. Care should be taken when transporting larger quantities of the composite as it is sensitive to shock and heat.

AcryliPlex Composite becomes explosively unstable if damaged (Damage Sensitive).

“Whatever you do, don’t try to quantum travel with this on board. »

Diluthermex is an extremely heat resistant epoxy often used in the assembly and repair of ship thrusters. It is considered very difficult to transport in its unhardened state as it becomes explosively unstable when exposed to Chan-Eisen fields during quantum travel. Specialized containers should be used to transport epoxy safely over long distances. Once set and cured, Diluthermex is no longer reactive.

Diluthermex releases a destructive energy pulse if exposed to Quantum Travel Sensitive.

Are you in? Here’s how:

While there’s no right or wrong way to approach the XenoThreat Dynamic Event, CIG has put together some tips that should help you navigate through the different phases and emerge victorious. Before you begin your journey at MIC L1, be sure to take on the “Call To Arms” mission to maximize your profits. With this mission active, the CDF will compensate you for eliminating NPCs and players with a CrimeStat.

And speaking of the law, always watch your fire to avoid getting a CrimeStat yourself. You don’t want to twiddle your thumbs at the rehab center Klescher while your friends take down XenoThreat and reap all the rewards!
