Square-Enix hosted a special live stream today that featured the next Star Ocean The Divine Force, with the promise of showing us a bit more footage from the game while also revealing a few more characters. We can say that the show delivered all its promises because in addition to the many images that were shown to us, we were even surprised to learn the release date of the publisher’s next JRPG.
When will Star Ocean The Divine Force be released?
A big trailer centered on the story of this sixth canonical opus first allows us to have a better overview of the universe of the game, even if for the moment, it will be necessary to be satisfied with a video in English.
But we can also discover the characters of Midas Freegreed, Nina Deforge and DUMA, who will accompany our duo of heroes Raymond and Laeticia. The images also show us a little more of the combat system and the various menus, for this episode which promises to have the most action-oriented gameplay of the entire series.
The major information to remember here is that Star Ocean The Divine Force will be released on October 27 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. It remains to be seen if the collector’s edition presented to us in the video will be available in the West.
