Star Trek: Picard: Amazon Prime Video brings you the epic second season of the sci-fi series today

Amazon Prime Video is expanding its program again in March 2022 with a few titles. As of today, a very special highlight awaits you in the series: “Star Trek: Picard” Season 2! After a two-year wait, fans can now look forward to news from Jean-Luc Picard (“Spaceship Enterprise – The Next Century” star Patrick Stewart) and his adventures.

In the new episodes of “Star Trek: Picard”, Q (John de Lancie) returns and changes the past so that Jean-Luc and his crew find themselves in a dystopian future. It even seems that Picard is leading this world as a dictator. Of course, things can’t stay that way, so the captain embarks on a journey through time to the year 2024 to change events.

He is supported by Guinan (“The Stand” star Whoopi Goldberg), but also Dr. Jurati (“American Horror Story” actress Alison Pill) works to ensure that the future becomes peaceful again and that Q’s changes are forgotten. You can expect the usual “Star Trek” action, familiar faces and new dangers. This mix certainly creates a lot of excitement.

Incidentally, the “Star Trek” universe will bring even more excitement in the future. With Star Trek: Picard Season 2 releasing alongside Star Trek: Discovery Season 4, fans can look forward to more Star Trek releases in 2022!
