From today you can see “Star Trek: Prodigy” for free on TV on Super RTL and Toggo TV and also in the stream on RTL+. The animated series marks the return of Star Trek: Voyager favorite Kate Mulgrew as Kathryn Janeway.

- Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek: Starship Voyager is back. The new series “Star Trek: Prodigy” is now celebrating its premiere in Germany on the free TV channel Super RTL and on RTL+.
- The animated series is actually aimed at a younger audience, but it also convinces the adult generation with great music and beautiful “Star Trek”-typical themes.
The time has finally come and fans of the “Star Trek” universe can also look forward to “Star Trek: Prodigy” in Germany. The first episode will be broadcast on TV on Super RTL on November 4th and then the first 13 episodes of season 1 will continue every day.

“Star Trek: Prodigy” on Free TV on Super RTL and Toggo Plus
The starting shot is fired on November 4, 2022 at 7:45 p.m. on Super RTL. An hour later, at 8:45 p.m., “Star Trek: Prodigy” will be shown on Toggo Plus. There is a new episode every day and so on November 16, 2022 we have already reached episode 13. A new run will start on November 17, 2022, ending on November 29.
It is unclear when the remaining episodes will come to Germany. The new episodes are currently showing on Paramount+ in the US. The streaming service will come to Germany at the end of the year and will also have “Star Trek: Prodigy” in its luggage. What is Star Trek: Prodigy about?
The new “Star Trek” series is about a crew of young outlaws who find a Starfleet spaceship. They escape from a labor colony where they are illegally held captive by the Diviner and forced to work. Aboard the spaceship, they encounter a holo version of Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager.
The Holo-Janeway helps the young crew become a real team and teaches them what it means to be in Starfleet. For children, the exciting adventures are particularly exciting, for adult Trekkies there is a lot of nostalgia and Kate Mulgrew’s return as Janeway.
