Star Wars 1313: The canceled game resurfaces with gameplay

At E3 2012, LucasArts announced Star Wars 1313, in which we were supposed to play a bounty hunter and, later, the famous Boba Fett. Unfortunately, following the takeover of the company by Disney, the studio was closed in 2013, leading to the outright cancellation of the project presented a year earlier. Although Lucasfilm Games is back, with several exciting projects, Star Wars 1313 doesn’t seem to be programmed to rise from the ashes.

Nevertheless, the project resurfaced with a gameplay sequence of several minutes, which can make us regret that it did not succeed. It was, as a reminder, a third-person shooter, quite dynamic, with several points in common with the Uncharted license. In this video, we essentially see a chase between Boba Fett and one of his targets, but also, before this action scene, the protagonist walking through the streets of Coruscant.

To give you a little smile, if this video saddens you knowing that we may have missed a GOTY, know that at least five Star Wars games will be released in the coming years. Three are in development on the side of Respawn and EA, including the sequel to Fall Order, one on the side of Ubisoft, in an open world and finally Star Wars Eclipse, developed by Quantic Dream. Also note that a mobile and Switch game will arrive in 2022, with Star Wars: Hunters.

One competition is organized with our partner Instant Gaming, which allows you to leave with the video game of your choice, from fifa credits or some V-bucks.
