The series centered on Ahsoka Tano brings together iconic characters from the Star Wars universe. And yet a hero is missing. Who is it ?
Broadcast since August 23 on Disney+, Star Wars: Ahsoka continues its journey by telling the continuation of the adventures of the famous Jedi, who was introduced and seen in animated version originally in the Clone Wars and Rebels series.
From episode to episode, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) investigates a latent threat that could upset the fragile balance of a still vulnerable galaxy… She will encounter many enemies: old ones like Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto) and new ones like the Sith Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and his apprentice Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno).
She will also reunite with old allies, like the Mandalorian Sabine Wren, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and the Twi’lek Hera Syndulla, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Together, they will try to prevent the return of Admiral Thrawn and try to find their friend Ezra Bridger, played by Eman Esfandi.
A character is missing in the Ahsoka series
But there is a member of his group who is missing and only Star Wars fans know the identity of this ally. This is an important character in the Rebels series, to which Ahsoka makes many references and nods.

This character is Garazeb Orrelios, better known as Zeb. Former honor guard of Lasat, he joined the group of rebels made up of Hera Syndulla, her astromech droid Chopper, Kanan Jarrus and the Mandalorian Sabine Wren. They will then be accompanied by Ezra Bridger and Ahsoka Tano to fight the Empire.
The Ahsoka series marks the reunion of this group, with the exception of Kanan Jarrus, who sacrificed himself for them in Rebels and who left a son, Jacen, to Hera. Among the remaining members, Zeb is therefore missing.
However, Zeb has already appeared in the live-action Star Wars universe in the series The Mandalorian. In episode 5 of season 3, we find the Alien, who is now a member of a New Republic military base. Even if it is produced digitally, the character is vocally embodied by Steve Blum, who already lent his voice to him in the series Rebels.

Zeb’s absence is surprising, especially since Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee), his fellow captain and pilot of the New Republic, who we already saw in episode 5 of season 3 of The Mandalorian , also appears in the Ahsoka series. So where is Zeb? The presence of Carson Teva and the absence of Zeb in Ahsoka blur the lines and the chronology of the Star Wars series.
Zeb is probably busy on another mission but it’s not yet too late to make him appear in the Ahsoka series. There are still a few episodes of the series left for Zeb to reunite with his old group. We will have to wait for the rest of the series on Disney+ to find out.
