With the Star Wars Celebrations which began this Thursday, May 26, 2022, it was logical that many announcements were made on the networks concerning the next series of the franchise but also video games. With the release of the highly anticipated Obi Wan Kenobi seriesthe fans are in turmoil and wonder if Cal Kestis, hero of Fallen Order, will be present or not. In the same way, one can wonder about the presence of this dear Ben in the game. According to the actor, Ewan McGregor, this could well be true since the screenwriter Déborah Chow, according to her words, has precisely made sure to correlate series and video games. Anyway, the sequel to Fallen Order was in the works, we already knew that for several months, and Electronic Arts has officially unveiled it.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor: Fallen Order sequel revealed
While Sony announced its State of Play for June 2, it was expected that the sequel to Fallen Order, developed by Respawn Entertainment, would be revealed on this occasion. Nay, it was on EA’s official Twitter account, late Friday evening, that a teaser trailer has been unveiled.
Simple cinematic teaser for the moment, we learn however that Survivor will be released in 2023 on Xbox Series, PS5 and PCand we find there a Cal Kestis more mature.
The Star Wars Jedi Survivor Storyline
We know that Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is set 5 years after the events of the third movie, Revenge of the Sith. L’order 66 has therefore already taken place and the various Jedi in the galaxy have either been exterminated, or have fled, or have become Inquisitors. Anakin Skywalker as dark Vador now, is still alive but Obi Wan doesn’t know it yet. Cal Kestis, our Jedi hero, survived Order 66 and is hiding on the planet Bracca. Unfortunately, the Inquisitors find him and he is condemned to flee, from planet to planet. He is saved by Cere Junda, a former Jedi, and he will meet a small droid called BD-1. His goal ? Find a holocron that lists all the children in the galaxy with the Force. Logic would dictate that Cal find them all one by one to help them but he prefers to destroy the holocron, feeling the great threat it represents if it fell into the wrong hands.

Notable point: the Obi Wan Kenobi series, currently broadcast on Disney+, takes place precisely 10 years after Order 66. In the teaser, we also see what seems to be the Grand Inquisitor but the official blog says it’s more of an Imperial Senator on Coruscant. As for the man in the water tub, no idea who that might be. A Cal Kestis clone perhaps? Anyway, it would not be surprising to find the third sister (Reva), present in the series precisely.
